What we collect

To create an account: your @usc.edu email address. To list or complete a trade: your first and last name and phone number (needed to actually transfer a ticket to you on USC's site), and basic usage data (like listings and trades you've made). We don't collect or store your full payment card details; those go directly to Stripe, our payment processor.

How we use it

To operate the marketplace: matching buyers and sellers, processing payments and payouts, verifying ticket transfers, sending you transactional emails (trade confirmations, timeout warnings, price alerts you've opted into), and preventing fraud.

Who we share it with

Your name and one contact method (phone or email) are shared with your trade counterparty only after you're matched on a trade, never before, and never with anyone else browsing the site. We use third-party services to operate UseMyPass: Stripe (payments and identity verification for payouts), Supabase (data storage and authentication), Amazon SES (receiving forwarded confirmation emails), and Resend/Brevo (sending transactional email). Each handles data under their own privacy policy. We don't sell your data.

Forwarded confirmation emails

When a seller forwards a ticket-transfer confirmation email to verify a trade, we store that email's content to confirm the transfer and, if needed, for a human to review manually. This is only ever visible to UseMyPass admins reviewing that specific trade.

How long we keep it

We keep account and trade data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

You can update your name and phone number anytime from your account page. To delete your account or ask what data we hold on you, contact us below.
